I almost saw a glimpse of an honest person until they spun.
How Sad so disappointing .
BTW there was nothing wrong with the mother paraphrasing according to her understanding as long as those reading the article understand it was not the official wording of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!
So she’s dishonest? Really Resty?
Be sure to point out what is incorrect so we won’t be led astray.
By the way Resty, what compelled you to name the source as "Paldog (mother of special needs children)", instead of just "Paldog"?
Did the fact that she has special needs children have one single thing to do with her Missionary training Quizlet?
Click on the image. at first glance it seems that her quizlet is word-for-word out of the manual. I'll look more thoroughly when I get home.
Mothers with special needs kids are not ALWAYS dishonest.
Resty,
Are you from Michigan?
Hey, Resty, I noticed on your home page you have an
From the The Family: A Proclamation to the World The First Presidency and Council of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day:
* In the premortal realm, spirit sons and daughters knew and worshiped God as their Eternal Father...
* Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony...
Q#1 Why does this phrase (first asterisk above) mention the Mormon heavenly father, but bears no mention of the Mormon heavenly mother???
What? Are Mormon divine women kept silent, barefoot, and in the Kolobian bedroom?
Are Mormon divine women non-existent publicly except for their ability to have sex and bear spirit babies? (the Kolobian "bare and bear" approach to women?)
Q2 And re: that second asterisk about "Children" being "entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony"...is that also true of all "spirit babies" in the so-called "pre-mortal realm?"
If not (if your heavenly father isn't "married") why not?
If he is (married), at least announce it! (Don't just tiptoe around the tulips...don't just leave the world guessing how many former virgins the Mormon god has up there)
And to highlight I am not descrating the true God by such a statement, T Minus Four over the weekend posted this one statement from Brigham Young:
...brother Joseph B. Nobles once told a Methodist priest, after hearing him describe his god, that the god they worshiped was the Mormons Devil-a being without a body, whereas our God has a body, parts and passions. (Brigham Young, JD 5:331)
Therefore, (a) even Brigham recognized lots of bodily passions from your Mormon god; and (b) Mormons have a different God -- flesh & bones but no supposedly blood...
Tell us how that works, Resty. I mean your home page official document splashes sex for the world to see ("We declare the means by which mortal life is created to be divinely appointed.")...how does the Mormon god produce billions & billions & billions & billions of spirit babies -- creating mortal spirit babies life up there -- if he doesn't have blood coursing through ALL veins of his supposed passion-filled body?
(I'm not the first to "raise" this issue...Ms. Jack Meyers does here at Mormon Matters...scroll down looking for the word "blood")
