Worth repeating!
Funny thing is I agree that the speculation of dispensationalist authors is over the top. But why let them suck you in?
I'm reminded of the parable of the tar baby. A wise man once said that many churches had destroyed themselves by becoming anti-abortion, rather than pro-life. "Be careful how you stare into the abyss," Nietzsche wrote, "lest, eventually, you find the abyss staring into you." We tend to become like what we behold -- and staring too long into the lunacies of the newspaper exegetes can undermine the health of our own walk with God.

So...if we spend all our time, talents & treasures thinking of creative ways to mock, ridicule & scoff at other believers’ non-essential theology, what does that say about us?
