We had a catholic priest in our town who had a golden retriever who assisted him in his mass every sunday.

After the priest and his dog were gone, the attendance at mass dropped 40%. The dog passed away at the age of eleven, and the priest retired within a month. He passed away the same year.

If my dogs don't go to heaven, I'm hoping to work outside the system.

Trust me, they'll be there. Do you really think you care more about your pets the their Creator does? When it comes to God, think outside the box :) He's creative, very creative and He expresses Himself in all of His creation.

Just so you know, I believe in the God of the bible. Gave my life to Jesus in 1975 and never looked back. Since then God has taught me many things. The biggest lesson was, don't think you know everything there is to know about God. He's just to big to figure it all out. If you have a personal relationship with Jesus, you know who Jesus is, that's the biggest thing. God will correct you about things you get wrong, and believe me, you will get plenty wrong, we all do. The other thing I've learned is, God is good all the time.

I have had many dogs over my 70+ years and I want most of them all with me. One was beautiful (red husky) 2 were protective (both mutts but one went through a glass door when a repair man tried to come on the porch when I was out in the barn) The lab I have now for her sweetness. One I was not too keen on but he was the children's pick. One was a old rescue that looked nasty but was a sweetheart...Also would like a couple of my angora goats with me. My family can visit whenever they want.. But I don't think that is how its done when we die.
