Surely the concept of analogy isn't lost upon you.
I was simply saying that I don't usually see Catholics rush in to defend Catholic priest sex-abusers; but when it comes to the rush of Lds perp articles, we see both Mormons and non-Mormon allies of theirs rush in to defend these perps.
And if you think sexual abuse is just an occasional thing involving Mormons, think again. You gotta remember that Lds are only 2% of the population -- and therefore you would think that Lds would account for only 2% of these sex abuse stories -- because obviously, no sect is exempt from abusers in their midst.
Here's what see just from about the last year (nothing earlier than 2010)...and this doesn't even include all of the fLDS stuff we see in the news!

BTW, JimT -- I didn't see your defenses of Mormon perps in many of those stories...better rush over now & comment to advocate for them while you have a chance!
