I was watching it and it just struck me a little weird hearing this from a mormon. I never, ever hear mormons talk like that. And I never hear them say “know your religion” or “ do your own homework”.
“Know your Religion” is a oft used Mormon phrase.
From what I’ve seen of Glenn Beck, he believes the Bible before the Book of Mormon, and turns to it for answers instead of the Mormon church. I’ve known a lot of people who are married into Mormonism, but get their beliefs from the Bible, even though this is NOT the church’s policy. Mormon leaders openly believe that the Bible has been corrupted. Hence the need for Joseph Smith’s “corrected” version.
