A few years ago our parish did a Lenten study of the book First Fruits of Prayer: A Forty-Day Journey Through the Canon of St. Andrew by Frederica Mathewes-Green and finished with a Saturday morning gathering to listen to Have Mercy on Me, O God: The Great Canon of St. Andrew of Crete by Schola Cantorum St. Peter’s in the Loop
I reread and listen to them every year.
