Most Catholics are mad as hell about these sick individuals posing as holy men. And in my own experience, none are incensed more that true priests.

That said, there is a huge population of low-lifes who will try to use the actions of these perverts, and those who protected them, to bring down the Church as a whole.

It's a fine line to defend the Church from such low-lifes while ensuring the innocent priests are protected and the guilty 'priests" are condemned.
