While they are still assessing, Christians are already on the ground helping with relief effort.

Glad to know they care only about their own members and church buildings.......
What a bunch of self centered creeps.

Glad to see they are concerned for their buildings, while the place around them crumbles.
Glad to see they are in contact with their people who are checking buildings, instead of helping the community these buildings are in.
But the important things first - buildings.

Are these non damaged buildings being opened for the homeless?
Are the kitchens in these building fixing food for the hungry?
Are the storage rooms being opened to distribute clothing to the freezing?
Well, at least the buildings are safe.

All the while Mission to the World (PCA) is on the ground delivering food and water. Samaritan’s Purse is loading a 747 full of food and emergency supplies. (Probably already enroute)
Both are caring for the physical needs of all who show up. LDS response? Well, sounds like an Amway response.

So what are you doing to help the people of Japan? Any people? Even members of your own faith whatever it is?

This is interesting from the rag:
Certainly in the days to come, the Church will announce its humanitarian aid efforts. It would be a wonderful gesture for us members to put in a little extra into our donations to the humanitarian relief fund. "certainly", These defenders of mormonISM do not even know if lds is going to help, but they didn't forget to ask for more money on Sunday morning.
It truly is a laugh out loud that these defenders of mormonISM believe that an earth quake on the Pacific Rim is a completion of JS prophesy.
The Pacific Rim has around 2000 quakes a year, even I could professes one. In fact I think I will. I say that within ten days, there will be another earth quake on the Pacific Rim.

You mean besides prayer, financial help for the groups who are going and the groups that are already there. Nothing.

So what are you doing to help the people of Japan? Any people? Even members of your own faith whatever it is?You know, I could ask you this same exact Q. (And then somebody could ask me the same Q; and then somebody could come along & ask that person that same Q...and where would it stop?)
SVCW's faith is Christian...are you trying to tell us that Christians haven't yet responded to what's happened in Japan & are still in the "assessment" stage?
But do tell us, Vigilanteman, what your own faith members are doing since you ask the Q.
To: Vigilanteman
However, your post question does not answer the questions I asked in post 7.
What are those answers?

From what the Mormon church thought 'twas important to tell the world in a press release:
The Churchs First Presidency made the following statement regarding the disaster: ...local Church leaders are currently discussing with government and humanitarian organizations ways to provide assistance.(You would think that "local" leaders would be in a more poised position to be a neighbor/Good Samaritan)
Continuing from the press release: ...all of its missionaries serving in Japan are accounted for and mission leaders are taking precautions to ensure that missionaries remain safe. All missionaries are a safe distance from damaged nuclear plants. It is likely Church members have been directly impacted by the quake, and local Church leaders are working tirelessly to account for them.
Wait a minute. People, especially NON-Mormons, are dying in need of rescue and in need of water. And what are local Lds church leaders in Japan doing? Why, they are being Good Samaritans to only those who wear a Mormon badge? Really?
And then they spend two graphs talking about church buildings.
We can see where their priorities are:
(1) Mormon missionaries
(2) Mormon members
(3) Mormon buildings
(4) See 1, 2, & 3
To: Colofornian
Color your list is incorrect, sorry.
We can see where their priorities are:
(1) Mormon missionaries
(2) Mormon members
(3) Mormon buildings
(4) See 1, 2, & 3
It should be:
1. temples
2. buildings
3. members
4. recheck buildings

The LDS is as shameful now as they were with the Haiti quake.
Why don’t they sell the Churches farmland holdings in Brazil and give to the poor?
All the Mormon church does is build its wealth.
