The Order of the Most Holy Trinity founded and maintains a high school in Hyattsville, MD named after one of the co-founders of the order, St. John de Matha. DeMatha Catholic High School was founded originally as a minor seminary near The Catholic University of America, but soon thereafter started to enroll local Catholic young men not intent on the priesthood.
Today, DeMatha Catholic High School is a world-renowned institution especially famous for its Basketball Hall of Fame basketball program and its long-time basketball coach, Morgan Wooten, but also well-known for its excellent academics, excellent sports and excellent music programs. Approximately 1000 young men attend the school today. It serves as a college preparatory school, and approximately 100% of its graduates enroll in institutions of higher learning after graduation.
