Moral relativism paves way for Satanism, says expert

Rome, Italy, Apr 11, 2011 / 05:55 pm (CNA).- A society dominated by moral relativism “fosters the spread of Satanism,” an expert recently explained.

Carlo Climati told CNA on April 5 that Satanism “destroys those universal values that are written in the hearts of each human being.” It creates “a society that is turned on its head, in which good becomes evil and evil becomes good.”

Climati is the press director of the Regina Apostolorum Pontifical University in Rome.

He said young people become captivated “by the illusion of a life that appears to be free of all rules” and by a deceiving freedom that leads them “to a state of dependency and slavery.”

“Unfortunately, modern society is often dominated by moral relativism. This fosters the spread of Satanism,” he noted.

Climati explained that young people are often “the victims of terrible loneliness, the lack of communication and difficult family situations.” They find the occult to be “an easy and quick fix for their problems” and they mistake it for a game. “In recent years young people have sort of been brainwashed into not being afraid of the occult world,” he added.

“Certain forms of rock music could be considered ‘diabolical’ or anti-educational” and often become “a bridge between teens and devil worship.”

“Satanic rock” is easily recognizable for its violent and anti-Christian lyrics and for the “CD jackets that contain bloody and blasphemous images,” Climati explained.

He said the internet and the media are often dangerous places for “psychologically fragile young people,” who entertain themselves by practicing “rites they invent after surfing the web or after reading a book on the occult.”

“Unfortunately,” he added, “sometimes they end up committing acts of violence or murder.”

Climati recently participated in the seminar, “Exorcism and the Prayer of Liberation,” held in Rome. It offered resources to young priests to differentiate between exorcism as a spiritual and theological issue, and Satanism.

Moral relativism paves way for Satanism, says expert

And Generalities pave the way for Totalitarianism.

The human race will not progress until people learn enough to dismiss anyone who tries to limit thinking to a single dichotomy.

You've got to take a graduate systems analysis class before anyone will whisperingly admit, "well, yeah, more than one thing needs to be considered at the same time... but don't tell anyone else!"

If you conveniently place no truth as absolute, then you have no rules...

Survival of the fittest kicks in and then you get societal decay...

That’s exactly what’s happening to this nation.

Then evil know no bounds and you have lame, blinded heathen running the country, which eventually could get overturned by anarchists, or worse, global forces that usher in an orchestrated national collapse from within... wish it weren’t really happening, but this is a no brainer...

Moral Relativism is a pleasant looking but suburb of Hell itself. Most folks who move there sooner or later get an apartment in the City.

Press director?

Anyhow, moral relativism leads people to ultimately love themselves and their own entertainments, and forget about Jesus Christ and the One true Church of Christ, the one holy, apostolic and Roman Church. Really, anyone in the state of sin, is a slave of satan.

Anyway, the Church, the clergy, has to start worrying about saving individual Catholic souls, and forget about saving the whole world at once.

I believe Ratzinger, in 2005 (I think) was the first to utter this, when asked what he thought was the biggest danger the world faced.

I remember being thoroughly impressed with this as an answer.

The difference between a moral relativist and a Satanist is that the latter knows for whom he is working.

Stolen from someone, can’t remember who.

In the west the religion of moral relativism is Buddhism.

It is a great philosophy but not for the ignorant liberal.

Anton LaVey laughed at all that so-called “satanic metal”. He said proper satanic music was like ambient elevator music, which would go towards linking nambly-pambly relativists with sataninic rites.

Freegards, thanks for all the pings

That is what I am constantly amazed of in modern society: good is evil and evil is good. I would have never thought it was possible in the US.

Both satan and liberals want humans to be subhuman.

Moral relativism IS satanism. Look at Satan’s three statements he used to tempt Eve to eat the fruit in Genesis 3. These statments are the creed of post-modern relativism.

Yes, that impressed me too as a well-thought out and true to the point answer
