When I was in law school, I thought it was really striking how we accept eye-witness accounts as evidence, and give credence to regular people and the observations they make. And facts as observed by real people get in the way of eloquent arguments and theories all the time. It definitely increased my faith to reflect upon the many sane and even skeptical people who saw the events of the New Testament unfold.
