Catholic ping!
Thank you for posting this, NYer. People such as Mr. Allen and the rest mentioned herein need our prayers, that they recant before it’s too late for them. The mockery of Catholic teaching he and his ilk present needs to continue it’s slow death, although I admit that I wouldn’t complain if it sped up a bit.
Fortunately there is a Magisterium, and it ain’t John Allen. Just look at the Anglican Communion for what happens when there is no ultimate authority on Church teaching and various “tribes” vying for political power and tearing the communion apart in the process.
You’re all so intolerant and old hat. Progress toward an open and democratic society where we all get along or become a Catholic Taliban...
