You Can Do What God Says

Whatever God tells you to do you can do. There is a principle in the Bible that whatever God tells you to do you can do. It is impossible for God to tell you to do something without giving you the ability to do it. And that is because the empowerment to do it comes with the instructions. In Mark 2:11,12 there was a man sick of the palsy(he was unable to walk) and yet Jesus said to him "Arise, take up your bed, and walk" and immediately he arose, took up his bed and walked. What happened to his inability to walk, it had to give way to the words of Jesus. In the very next chapter of Mark in verse 5 there was a man with a withered hand(he was unable to move it) and yet Jesus said to him "Stretch forth your hand" and immediately he stretched it forth. What happened to his inability it had to give way to the words of Jesus. God's word is your empowerment.

In Matthew chapter 14 the disciple were in a ship on the sea and a storm arose. And Jesus came walking on the water and Peter said "If that be you bid me come to you on the water" and Jesus said "Come". Just that one word to Peter was enough for him to get out of the boat and walk on the water. In Luke chapter 1 Elizabeth was barren, she was literally unable to have a child and yet God said "Thou shalt have a son" and the one that was unable to have a child gave birth to a son. Provision also comes with the instruction. In 1Kings 17 God sent the man of God to a widow to sustain him. And when he went to her he asked for a drink of water and as she was going to get it he also asked for a morsel of bread and she said all she had left was enough for one meal and her and her son was going to eat it and die. How was she going to sustain the man of God. In verses 12-16 Elijah told her to fix him a little cake first because (here's the answer) thus saith the Lord The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail until the day the Lord sends rain upon the earth and because of her obedience they did eat for many days. The lesson of this is whenever God tells you to do something follow the instructions of Jesus mother "Whatever he saith unto you doeth it" (John 2:5).

You have an active imagination and unbridled optimism.

"There is a principle in the Bible that whatever God tells you to do you can do."

If that's true, why do we need a savior?
