Age notwithstanding, they’ve presumably also shunned any shoe company deal or AAU team tie-in.

I think limiting admission to celibate males who've completed six years of post-secondary education and a > 15 year apprenticeship puts them at a disadvantage in recruiting relative to the Kentuckys and Ohio States of the world.

However, I have it on good authority that they've never been sanctioned by the NCAA for trading signed memorabilia for tattoos.
