Actually, Salvation, Protestants pretty much believe that we go back to 33 AD too, and the RCs left around the Council of Trent. We see a line of faithful Bible believers, from AD33 through the Waldensians and early faithful Christians up through and continuing until now.

I also imagine the Greek Orthodox might take up with you on your historical timeline as well. . .

Especially in the South, Orthodox churches are receiving many converts from Protestant denominations. Many of the Greek Orthodox churches up North still do their liturgies in Greek. But there are many Orthodox churches that are very welcoming to American converts. You don’t have to belong to a particular ethnic group to become Orthodox. The Greek Orthodox Church of America also has a wonderful website that explains lots of things about ancient Church history. http://www.goarch.org
