Ex-Chester pastor continues his fight {racial discrimination? in Presbyterian C

A former pastor in Chester held a demonstration outside the Presbytery of Philadelphia office Monday afternoon, alleging the Presbytery discriminated against him on racial bounds.

Standing beside an empty coffin and a sign reading “Bury Discrimination,” the Rev. Richard Dalton met with reporters and spoke briefly to two curious drivers who passed along the quiet, Germantown road.

A former interim pastor at Thomas M. Thomas Presbyterian Church from 2007 to 2009, Dalton has filed a retribution claim with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleging the Presbytery of Philadelphia blocked his hire at a North Philadelphia church because he previously had filed an EEOC discrimination claim.

“Here at the Presbytery, they have a pattern … of hiring just white people,” said Dalton, an African-American. “We have a diverse Presbytery. Out of that diversity, they should pick an ethnic person or a minority to sit at the executive level to make some decisions for everybody else.”

dunno if this guy's just disgruntled he got passed over for a better guy or if this is the real deal. There have been ex-ruling elders of the OPC who have left saying that the OPC leaders continue to advance doctrines that contradict Scripture. The OPC is, in the words of its late historian Charles Dennison, "obviously inept, bumbling, [and] confused."1 That confusion now appears to be fatal.

**they have a pattern … of hiring just white people,”**

Ministers and priests are capable regardless of their race.

Hmmmm.

I dunno, perhaps Dr. Eckleburg would like to weigh in on why her cult is so anti-semitic and bars "colored folks" from being ministers?

Any idea why the OrthodoPresbyterian C (OPC) does this -- yes, yes, we know the protestations to the contrary, but your sect of 10,000 adults and pederasts knows how to hush up the media, eh? like the branch davidians...
