We have masses from Saturday evening through Sunday evening. They added a Latin Mass at 1, where there was a spot. Your church is so busy they cannot add one Mass? People come from miles around.
Well here’s the thing, Fr. has said he could have the Latin Mass on Sat evening.
The problem is back in the old days, you didn’t go to Mass on Sat evening. So no, we don’t want to do that.
He could have the TLM late on Sunday, after 1pm. That poses its own problems for families with small children; naptimes, crabbiness, even for the kids, etc etc. (I was trying to be funny there, did you catch that?? hahaha) We’re willing to compromise, still...how do I say this.... Why do the traddies always have to compromise for time and space whilst the progressives whine and threaten and get what they want?
