I get you. But note that the Scenario I posed depicts that I am already not in need of food at that moment ant there is only A PIECE OF BREAD available that could satisfy sparingly one person.
Or what do you think?
Don’t worry. They can’t have all the cake every time. No. Let’s continue to pray and also put into action what we proclaim. Thank you.
I see starving people almost every day and sometimes I also ‘starve’ kind-of. Africa and starvation to an extent seem synonymous but THERE IS HOPE because of OUR CHRIST JESUS. Amen. Or don’t you think so too?
“Would you kill and cook your enemy to feed your friend?”
Well, No. Because:
1. Thou SHALT NOT Kill is still a commandment NOT A SUGGESTION.
2. I am Not a cannibal and I don’t friend cannibals.
3. I happen to be a strict vegetarian.
4. I don’t know how to cook. Would you teach me?
G!
Well, John is that a PLUS or a MINUS?
:)
Thanks and God bless.
G!
That’s an interesting response.
Quite good. :)
G!
No murder. Agreed.
2. I am Not a cannibal and I dont friend cannibals.
That's not very liberal. :)
3. I happen to be a strict vegetarian.
Oh dear; does that mean that we are on different places on the food chain? I often use the phrase: vegetation is what food eats. :)
4. I dont know how to cook. Would you teach me?
Fire. Scorch on both sides, rare in the middle. I do a great leg of lamb with nothing but garlic cloves and kosher salt.
Yet David, a man after God's own heart, killed. I've read in multiple sources that the proper translation is "Thou shalt not murder."
2. I am Not a cannibal and I dont friend cannibals.
After 20+ years in the military, I learned that you'll eat almost anything when you're hungry enough.
3. I happen to be a strict vegetarian.
Isn't "vegitarian" the Cherokee word for "poor hunter?"
4. I dont know how to cook. Would you teach me?
The easiest way to go is grilling.
Get the grill going. If you're using charcoal, wait till the briquets turn white. For best results, close the lid. Check in 10 - 15 minute intervals. Flip as necessary. You'll know when it's done. Note; most meat will continue to "cook" 3-5 minutes after you take it off the grill.
You may also grill fish and squash.
