Very well done. God Bless this Archbishop and may there be joy in the acceptance of this UPDATED and I say updated English edition.

Put it this way, this is like the little kids this week, and in my state, delayed a day or two because of storm Irene (CT), and having no electric power to run the schools, including my parish school who are not happy to leave home to go to school. But once into the “routine” of the school, they get settled to learn.
Same here with the new English translation of the Roman missal. There will be those Catholics “upset” by this update, but over time, things will settle down.

**The promise of this new translation of the Mass is that we will enter more deeply into the mystery of the faith the mystery of Gods love for the world, a love he wants to spread through each one of us. **
Personally, I can’t wait. I just want all the rotten music to disappear too.

This new translation continues the liturgical renewal envisioned by the Second Vatican Council (1963-65). ...and hijacked by the American Bishops.
Oh, sorry, was that my outside voice?

It is wonderful to see the Bishops presenting the corrections in a positive light. this line, however, made me giggle:
This new translation continues the liturgical renewal envisioned by the Second Vatican Council (1963-65).
