My old church had confessions just before Mass. A really good idea. That was before the bishops got caught up with social justice theology and folk masses. Why worry about saving souls when you can spend the effort on defending the law-breaking illegal aliens and spending St. Patrick's Day dinners with pro-abortion politicians like Pelosi, Kennedy, Biden Leahy, etc.

Visiting an out of town parish, I noticed they had after Mass confessions. What kind of confession can you give after Mass?
"Forgive me Father for I have sinned. You know the cute girl in the third row at Mass? Well..."
