Are you familiar with how Mormons view God and Jesus Christ vs. how trinitarian Christians view God?
One cannot know precisely which jesus Milt is referring to. The Mormonism jesus is very different from the Jesus Who Is at the heart of Christianity. Milt no doubt is counting on most folks not knowing that major fact about his religion.

The thing is, Hattie, Mormons don’t believe that. There is no personal relationship with Jesus like Christians believe. In fact, their leaders teach that it is WRONG to claim to have a personal relationship or worship Jesus. To them Jesus is just our ‘elder brother’ who is our example and ‘saves’ us from physical death (meaning we will all be resurrected), spiritual salvation is based upon our works.
So, Romney is intentionally distorting in order to make it sound like the LDS are Christians. Sadly, it happens all the time.

One can only take someone at their word that they made Jesus Christ their Lord...However, I can't see a born again, bible reading, bible believing Christian continuing to be a Mormon, or a Catholic or a muzlim when the bible teaches AGAINST these religions...
Sure, some folks are on the fringe and don't spend time in the scriptures but still trust Jesus for their salvation regardless of their environment but Romney is supposed to be one of the uppity-ups in the Mormon hierarchy...He knows exactly what they teach...
I suspect Pastor Jeffrees figures the same way...
