My primary reason for not voting Romney is that he is particularly sleazy and is a RINO. (C’Mon Cain. You can pull this off).
But the religion thing is sure a touchy issue.

I'm an anti-mormonISM poster at FR. It is my personal opinion that any candidate asked about Milt Romeny’s mormonism should reply that the question is not one he/she will address ... next question. Milt Romeny’s membership in the cult of mormonism is going to be used by the enemedia to pound any Republican candidate. If voters want to use Milt's mormonism to reject him in the voting booth, that is an individual right. But to allow the media who are clearly democrat operatives, nothing more, to use Milt's mormonism to denigrate the other candidates is just plain Republican stupid!

However, should a Christian place a premium on the faith of a candidate. Pastor Jeffress stated that if it came down to Romney v. obama he would vote for Romney. IOW, if we have a solid Born Again Christian v. a non-Christian all things being equal we should support the Christian.
