Since this is a Catholic thread, I’m going to clear the air a bit.

I’m not a Protestant, I’m a Baptist. Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist BEFORE he ran into Peter. Baptists existed for over 300 years before the Roman government decided to get into the church business. We never protested, but have certainly been persecuted.

Purgatory is not Biblical, and was a way for the Catholic church to guilt folk into financial contributions to allegedly pray their loved ones into heaven.

In a parable, Jesus told that Lazarus was carried to Abraham’s bosom while the rich man went straight to hell. If you believe in infant baptism and praying after death to reach Paradise instead of a personal relationship with God, you’re headed to the same place....immediately.

Please folks, read your Bible!
