Thought this might be of interest to many who follow science/religion/creation/physics issues - FYI, I am a volunteer moderator for the Magis facebook site.

BTW, the fine-tuning discussed in the documentary and in Fr. Robert Spitzer's book (New Proofs for the Existence of God) has to do with the values of the universal constants (strength of gravity, strong force, weak force, etc) and other initial physical parameters that permit a universe compatible with carbon-based life - it does not have to do with evolution.

Intelligent Creator? The 'Universe' as we believe we know it began some 14 1/2 billion years ago. The future of the 'Universe' as we currently believe it is that it will last for a trillion years eventually with all live heat and matter expended into a cold dark nothingness.

Our 'created' lives last approximately 70 years. The human race will be lucky to last another 1,000 years on this planet let alone another 10,000 or 1,000,000.

What's the point of bothering to create human life? We will never know the 'Creator' and our only hope is some utopian life-after-death scenario. But for what? To have your 'soul' lingering in space or some metaphysical existence for eternity? Why bother? What's the point?

If the universe was unintelligent (however you may define that), how would one know?
