Yeah, it's not like there's any sort of context in which this event can be placed.
Oh, I get it. The slaughter of men, women and children by mormons who blamed it on Indians is ok because sometime before that they were forced out of a state where they cheated, lied and stole what ever the could get their hands on. It just makes perfect sense.
