My thoughts exactly too! I will take it a step further though - although as you say, none of the documents can be described as heretical, some of them (Gaudium et spes, in particular) used deliberately ambiguous language to make it easier for the dissident liberals to twist them in the name of the so called “spirit of Vatican II.”.

I do hope the schism is ultimately healed because I would love to start attending their masses. We have the extraordinary form now which is a step, but I find that the priests who say both are fuzzier in their homilies and not as pure in their doctrinal messages and catechesis in general.

So, I hope SSPX is untimately and soon reconciled to the Pope.
