Gay marriage has been rejected by every vote or referendum in every state of the union in which it has been proposed, including Iowa But it was foisted upon the state by Judicial fiat, over the objections of voters.

Three of the Justices who imposed “gay marriage” on the state, came up for re-election and were soundly defeated in the 2010 elections, by Iowa voters.There is a movement to impeach the remaining activist judges.

In the meantime the Iowa house voted 62-37 to pass a marriage amendment defining marriage as being between one man and one woman. But the motion is expected to die on the floor of the democratic controlled senate, where Senate majority leader Mike Gronstal,(D Council Bluffs) has vowed to block a vote or debate in the issue.

Enter Zach Wahls. He is the University of Iowa engineering student who testified in the Iowa statehouse, on behalf of gay marriage. The well spoken Wahls told the Iowa lawmakers that his family , one sister, two “mothers” was typical in every other respect,

“Um, I guess the point is our family really isn’t so different from any other Iowa family. You know, when I’m home we go to church together, we eat dinner, we go on vacations. Ah, but, you know, we have our hard times too, we get in fights…you know.”

Wahl’s stated that the fact that his younger sister was conceived by the same “anonymous sperm donor” as he was , “is cool”.

The internet showing of Wahl’s testimony before the Iowa Legislature has gone viral, and Wahl’s is an instant internet sensation, and a spokesman for gay marriage. He was featured on MSNBC, and is sure to be feted in other media.

I understand Zach Wahl’s wanting to stand up for the only family he has ever known. Who wouldn’t? If I was raised by the a mafia member, chances are I would still love my family dearly and assert that it was “normal”. How would I know any different?

I wouldn’t expect Wahls to act any different, but on the other hand I wouldn’t consult him on whether or not we should fundamentally transform our society based on his subjective experience.

The argument to up-end more than 4000 years of western civilization cannot be made logically and rationally, so the left must personalize it. Zach Wahls becomes the “face” of the debate, so to reject gay marriage is to reject this clean-cut “sixth generation Iowan”, who naturally loves the only two parents he has ever known.

But for every well spoken Zach Wahls, I wonder how many hundreds and thousands of unfortunate children have a radically different story to tell. Without any say in the matter, as wards of the state, how many were put into the custody of homosexuals and lesbians, denied a ‘normal’ family of Father and Mother, and used as props in the culture war, to further the war on christian marriage.

How many thousands are there , who would not be as comfortable as Zach was, in recounting their conception and birth, not as an act of love, but as a by an “Anonymous sperm donor”?

I doubt the Iowa State house will ever hear the testimony of the adopted son of Duke University researcher, Frank Lombard. This Mike Adams story tells the horrifying fate of the five-year old boy adopted by a prominent homosexual,but warning, not for the faint of heart.

The Other Duke Case

We have yet to hear from those who were the pawns in this tragic ‘experiment’ , broken and ruined for life by being cast into a situation that is unnatural to say the least, as well as confusing and shameful. Children are being sacrificed on the altar of Political correctness, but then again what should we expect from a culture of abortion.

We will not escape the judgment for this, the decline in our nation, morally, spiritually, politically, economically, can be laid at the feet of our readiness to sacrifice those least able to defend themselves to this godless agenda of the culture of death.

And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!(Matthew 18:2-7)

America has a millstone around its neck and is about to be cast into the sea of God’s judgment for these very things! When Israel descended to the level of child sacrifice, that was the line, Judgment came!

Flee the wrath that is coming, repent of your sins and run into the One who is the only Ark, the only refuge from the Judgment. He bore our sins that we might be saved, he was punished with our punishment on the Cross. Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord Jesus will be saved!
