His specific denomination is not mentioned much, but I am pretty sure that I have read that he is Southern Baptist.
I love him and admire him for sticking to his faith, whatever his denomination. Maybe God has decided to help him out a little bit.
He is making his critics look like fools. How sweet it is. !!!
Tebow is a member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. It's the largest Baptist Church in the area and I believe it's also one of the largest in the country.
I'm happy to see Tebow do so well as I am a die hard Gator fan. However, I'm also a Patriot fan and I expect Belichic and company will be busting his bubble on December 18th.
In any event, he's a fine Christian young man and is an easy target since he wears his faith on his sleeve. Add to this the fact he's not the proto-typical NFL pocket passer, he's also a bit of a novelty.
Back in the day when the Jaguars had Mark Brunnell, he acted the same way Tebow does. But since the Jags were decent then and Brunnell fit the mold of a NFL quarterback, he wasn't considered "different".
