You start you post with a completely false assertion (if you read the entire essay, White specifically addresses the issue ofextensive Biblical evidence for the concept of the Trinity, though the specific word to translate as ‘TRINITY’ or ‘trinitarian’ is not in the Bible) and expect readers to fall in line behind your further assertions?

I wasn't talking about the specific word, and I clarified myself a few posts down. I'll give you the same task I gave another FReeper: Give the scriptural evidence that the Holy Spirit is equal to the Father and to the Son. Many verses could be seen to imply this but could be knocked down using the same semantic gymnastics the author used on the verses regarding Mary. I could easily make the case the Holy Spirit is subordinate to the Father and Son and not equal.

Your effort to divert is duly noted. I stated that you started your post with a false assertion. You accused White of failing to address something he actually addressed. I don't personally want to exchange with someone who does that sort of mischaracterization and I have in the past spent extemsive posts addressing the Biblical evidence for the Trinity, so your rephrasing to create a sort of diversionary trap will be ignored hereafter.

The best compilation on the aspects of the Trinity from Bible passages that I have read at FR was posted by freeper Diamond, years ago on a MormonISM discussion thread where one mormonism apologist, Delphi User, deigned to accuse that there was not proof for the Trinity in the Bible. I have pinged Diamond, if that freeper so desires to post the lengthy file again for you.
