It has truly shocked me how quickly a testimony of the Church can unravel when Joseph Smith’s divine calling as God’s prophet is undermined by learning the truth about him. You'd think more people would want to know the truth.
Its also sad that so many ex mormons go on to be atheists but its understandable after the years of lies they've been told. I just pray they make their way back to Jesus.

"You'd think more people would want to know the truth. "Yeah, you'd think. but as evidenced by some of the comments some endure and endorsements of those comments, the truth is to be ignored or dismissed. It's "upsetting".
There are those here who will either deny the truth by claiming we're lying or will lie in their efforts to defend him.
I can only conclude that the sociological draw, as this bishop alluded to, or the fear of rejection/ostracism by family members is what keeps them "in line".

Yep, we're due to take over the world approximately next April. May at the latest. Gotta find a new council. Most of the Knights I know are too old to use their swords, and they would look pretty damn silly in the nude.

My Grand Knight has asked the same question of me. At this point, I would hate to give up my "time in grade".
Truth be told, I became inactive for an extended period, and reactivated approximately five years ago. For the present, 3rd degree is my calling.
