The robes of righteousness will only be given to those who are WILLING to follow Gods will. Are robes better than a Temple Recommend®?

If I understand you correctly, then I have no idea of what the answer is. You probably don't; therefore you know.

To me, the promise of the Christ means there is no failure. No one is left behind, and a lot of the hellfire and brimstone stuff is something out of a medieval nightmare. If that is what you believe....then you are unlearned.
The Bible is clear.....
I would hope you would become learned...in what the Bible actually says.

She has one. She has posted several times about going to the temple. So has Sandy.

Yes, though it is not a reason I am opposing Mitt Romney. He’s a human weathervane, trying to say the right thing at the right time.
Romney’s a man who changed his mind or his heart or his something on the abortion issue, and the same for the marriage issue. Without explanation. Those are fundamental, more fundamental than being wrong about how much carbon there is in the atmosphere.

Agreed, though it’s my understanding it’s not until one is pretty much brainwashed before they reveal the darkest side of Mormonism, and by then the fear factor comes into play if they even consider leaving.

Talking to yourself will not change the truths we have posted. Eventually you will have to choose, Christ or Mormonism (whatever your brand is).

Don’t you have an exorcism to attend and some poor priest to torture?
At least when I talk to myself I am having an intelligent conversation with someone.
To: CodeToad
“One can be a Christian simply through acceptance of Jesus as their savior. No church, money, sex, or givings of any kind required.”
Couldn’t one do that as a Catholic, a Baptist, a Mormon, or no church at all?
My wife was raised Catholic, and would still claim to be. But I once questioned her beliefs, and she is closer to protestant beliefs than to Catholic beliefs.
Most individuals don’t dwell on theological fine points.
I think people are raised in religions of their families, and believe in Christ. They themselves feel they are Christians.
Can another human being take that away from them, because they lack the wording for the Trinity? Down through the centuries have not various denominations held differing theological details?
