Amen!! Thanks for the response.
GOD is always fair.
Would be extremely unfair if HE told the poor to give as much as the rich.
At  that time the rich ( master) made money from the work of the poor (slaves). Labor. So, this kind of law would put a pressure on the masters to pay more if they wanted them, their household, and workers to all be worthy of GOD and stay blessed. As rituals, traditions, and practices were definitely taken very seriously at that time; as GOD was showing enormous power.
In the mentality of what was showed by humans of that time. That was very fair and made sense from the sins at that time; constant idolatry and open worship.

Connected with modern liberalism?? It can seem so in the world’s eye. But the world’s eye is not GOD’s eye. All these various labels for segregations of actions deemed “ good” or “ bad” by humans standards is one of the reasons why we are so divided. Thats another conversation that Jesus warns us about.

Nothing that humans issue, label, or tries to establish will last long like GOD’s word. Humans will never make univeral sense like GOD’s WORD. Humans can never love like HIS LOVE without Christ as the center of their heart and faith. But trying is totally understood. We all have tried in our personal lives; which reflects openly in all we do.
But we always make a mistake, because all we do is glorify each other.
When we glorify HIM?! All things work out beautifully.

As said in the OT as well:
Isaiah 55:7-11
7 Let the wicked abandon his way and the evil one his thoughts. Let him turn back to Yahweh who will take pity on him, to our God, for he is rich in forgiveness;
8 for my thoughts are not your thoughts and your ways are not my ways, declares Yahweh.
9 For the heavens are as high above earth as my ways are above your ways, my thoughts above your thoughts.
10 For, as the rain and the snow come down from the sky and do not return before having watered the earth, fertilising it and making it germinate to provide seed for the sower and food to eat,
11 so it is with the word that goes from my mouth: it will not return to me unfulfilled or before having carried out my good pleasure and having achieved what it was sent to do.
12 Yes, you will go out with joy and be led away in safety. Mountains and hills will break into joyful cries before you and all the trees of the countryside clap their hands.
13 Cypress will grow instead of thorns, myrtle instead of nettles. And this will be fame for Yahweh, an eternal monument never to be effaced.

Thanks again for replying with the passage. Love it!!

Praise Jesus!!
