Therein lies the danger of straying away from the simple message of the Good News, the attempts at high sounding philosophy become what Jesus called ‘wicked reasonings’ of the philosophers.
>>Sounds like you have forgoetten the “Wicked reasonings” that undergird your own way of thinking.

Read up on the role of Nominalism in the Protestant Revolution.

You use your own reasoning every time you attempt to give a two-dimensional literal reading of scriptural translations, which are interpretations of the texts.

Then perhaps a three or four dimensional non-literal reading of the autograph manuscripts without any reasoning would be better?

Words can be strung together in a sentence but that doesn't mean they have any real meaning. Two dimensions? What does a literal reading mean as it relates to what I said?
You do not use a translation of the Scriptures?

And what precisely am I supposed to discover from this ‘reading up’?
