we had a dog badly mauled by a robber on our farm here in the Philippines, and also developed an infected would. We had the vet suture it and put in on antibiotics.

We took the dog back to the farm later, and he “disappeared”, presumably eaten. Around here, the farmers are poor and figure: Why waste good money on a dog when the children need protein in their diet, and they probably stored the antibiotics away for the next time they ran a fever...

And saying a “medal” “cured” you is magical thinking that gives religion a bad name...

Dear Sister- I think you are a good decent christian. I do not understand your pessimism but in a way I do it seems your are in the "jungle" with the poor. I believe in the Blessings on a Medal from Christ myself. I believe I have seen results. You did see that the Blessed medal healed a dog for an autistic person.
