I read somewhere this past year that Genghis Khan destroyed so many farms and towns in central Asia that he changed the long-term weather patterns, as the entire region grew back to forest. imho, Stalin and Mao were worse than Hitler. Stalin in particular was evil and sane and smart as heck. Hitler was evil and smart, but insane. Stalin murdered more...
