Some Jews have goofy beleifs from my point of view, but I am not a Jew and it’s not up to me to
harass them about it. I love Jewish people and I support Israel. It’s a free country. This is a privately owned forum. Mr Robinson is a Christian. He’s not a peagan.
Christians are not going into closets to speak about Jesus and to pray to Him to make you happy. They are not going to change their beliefs to make you happy just like you would not do that to make them happy. That’s life.
Christians talk about the disagreements they see among the churches and I learn from reading their discussion. We talk about our faith on this forum with other Christians and we pray for one another or anyone who asks for prayers, too. Christians don’t look to harm you nor to gain your approval.
I’m sorry you don’t like the idea that Jesus said the only way to God is through him. You be secure in what your religion tells you and don’t pay attention to the Christian faith when it upsets you. Be happy and secure in what you have now. When you are secure in your faith, it won’t hurt your feelings and make you furious when you stumble into a Christian conversation about the Messiah and salvation.
God Bless you. Nice chatting with you. :)
G-d Bless you,too.
It’s forbidden to start a fire on the Sabbath. It’s also forbidden to extinguish one, from what I read, but only the fanatics would allow a fire to burn without putting it out. I don’t understand that at all. I don’t think G-d would want people to lose their homes or businesses.
There were some Ultra-Orthodox Jews who smeared vomit on the door and windows of a bakery that sold Chametz,or anything with leavening, during Passover.
Then there are those who throw chairs and dirty diapers at the women who are praying at the Wall in Jerusalem.
I am appalled at those who spit at/on Christians or Christian religious objects, such as a crucifix. That is not part of Judaism. I still have several sets of rosary beads from when I was a Christian. A Catholic woman gave me two sets and my mother brought back some really nice ones from Italy. I have them in a safe place.
I don’t understand some of the practices, either. there are those who adhere to everything a rabbi says but I prefer to go according to what’s in our Scriptures, not someone’s translation.
Go up to your Ashta pole and make an offering, who knows...
I don’t know what that is supposed to mean.
so long,now!
Every group has it’s kooks. The examples you gave must be of people breaking the law? Do they get arrested for assault? Is it legal for women to go to the wall?
When people say things I don’t like or agree with in the name of God, I usually just ignore them. I know they don’t influence God. LOL People can yap all they want. But violence against others...that would be a self defence gun thing America.

.
So much for your understanding of the scriptures, eh?
The women are the ones who get in trouble because they are “praying too loud” or because they are “singing too loud” while dancing with the Torah, which is a celebration.
There is nothing in the Torah that says women can’t read from it.
You like to instigate,don’t you?
Bye.
I forgot to tell you something. I had a orthodox couple who lived across the street and they kept the Sabbath. So one Sabbath I’m out front with the kids and the fire alarm is going off in their house. It kept screaming and screaming so I went over to make sure they were alright. They couldn’t turn it off so I did it. LOL
That does not make sense to me. Being observant is one thing but that is taking it a little too far.
Their faith made them very peaceful, happy and healthy; so it made me happy. They were a good family to have as neighbors. We gardened together because they were from the city and didn’t know how to do much and had no tools in the beginning. Arlene had a keen sense of humor and made me laugh whenever we were together. They had adorable, smart and polite boys.
