I stand corrected as to the media response to Big Ben's actions. I didn't notice that much coverage of him in the Washington area but I was probably preoccupied with other things. Thank you for pointing out my error.

You can pray all the time. Always be thankful, even in public just don’t do it for show. The example given was the Pharisee saying publicly “I’m glad I’m not like him” referring to a sinner. The sinner, on the other hand, did not even raise his head for the weight of his sin was upon him and he was truly sorrowful. The sinner went down justified. If Mr. Tebow does his intimate sorrowful prayer in private, the public thanks to God is a good example for others. Do you pray in public? Give thanks at mealtime in a restaurant? God sees our deeds and knows our motives. Please don’t judge Mr. Tebow.

I so agree! and for the so-called Christians who say he should pray in a closet or out of site, maybe, just maybe his praying on the field is to show young people that you don’t have to be a druggie, dog killing, woman “chasing” man to be a football star. You CAN be a Christian and be in the NFL.

This is dumb. The media loves this story, its good for ratings. Some members of the media are in a knot, but the large majority love the story.

This is dumb ??? - you ask… let's discuss what your 'knot' is:

It is obvious to anyone with a ... that the MEDIA holds a DOUBLE standard... the MEDIA is not interested in ratings but rather disdain of anyone who boldly shares their Chritian faith.

Where in my original post did I say that God is in favor for Denver Football or favoring Tebow win a football game? Nowhere!

The POINT I made was clear: I succinctly identified the real issue of why the MEDIA has disdain for this person; it is clearly because they do hate and reject the Lord of Glory whom this person stands boldly for. I am not promoting football as any sort of thing that God favors; God forbid! On the contrary, I am pointing out that now publicly, the MEDIA's disdain has been exposed for what it really is: they hate Christ in Tebow and the witness he displays, and because of that they try to destroy an athlete with arguments for are fair to any rookie starter (mistakes, poor performance, poor techniques, etc). They use that as a tool to publicly disdain a man who is just a rookie starter like any other rookie starter. But their motive is clear!

And to that end the MEDIA better spend some time on their sins which will result in their wrath from God when God judges ALL Christ rejecting people. These MEDIA are not in a "knot": they simply are Christ rejecting people who have a disdain for anyone who is a Christian. That is why I gave the Gospel to them to read:

I Corinthians 15:3: For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
I Corinthians 15:4: And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

That receiver made a hell of a run on that play but he didn't need a TD As long as he got in FG range

That's dead wrong given the new rules for playoff overtimes.

I guess you weren’t actually watching the game then.

The coin toss at the beginning of OT very clearly indicated what the new rules are.

If the team receiving the opening kickoff scores only a FG, the other team gets a shot.

The game is sudden death only if the receiving team scores a TD or if the defense scores on that first possession.
