Humbly Request Prayers Be Lifted For My Family And I

Once again I am facing the dilemma of possibly being unemployed over the next 6-7 months. My company is going through a major restructuring and is looking to dismiss up to 300 employees.

I ask that you lift prayers to our Father asking him to be with my family and I....and with all those facing such....to give us peace, comfort, strength, and faith.

We don't always understand our Fathers plan....and have to rely on his promise he will always provide and never abandon His children.....but sometimes I find it hard to put all my trust in Him.

For all those that act upon this request....I thank you...For those who have face similar circimstances....I wish you peace and God's Blessings.

I do not know where this road will take me....but wherever it should go I will face it head on....and rely on God to move my feet down the right path....

I understand I am not alone in facing such difficult times, many have experienced much worse....but that does not make this situation any better....or make me feel less pained...

In the Bible...it states that faith, hope and love are of the highest virtue....and in each God has blessed me in abundance many times over....Funny, from an outside observer, one might see my life as ordinary, but it is far from it...for that I am ever thankful...I live a life I never thought possible....Praise God...

This is the first critical challenge ever put in my life's path.....so thank you everyone for your prayers and words of encouragement.....it is deeply apprecited....and will be taken to heart...

Hi All....just an update on my situation...

The good news...Thank the Lord....I made it past the first round of cuts....Thank you for your prayers one and all...!

Even in my relief I find no solitude...many, many good people lost their livelihoods over the last two days....it was like a buzz-saw going through timber....it was brutal...I am at a loss for words to describe my feelings during the carnage....pray you never have to experience it...

As stated above...I made it through round one.....still more to come in the summer, round two....so please keep my family and I in your prayers.....and please keep all those facing financial hardships in your prayers as well...

Our God is great God....and if God is with us...who can stand against us...thank you Lord for your mercy and grace...

Round two is upon us....my fate as to my employment status, as well as many other good hard working people, will be none tomorrow and Tuesday....
