As number of Latino evangelicals grows, it's not politics as usual

CNN) - It’s a greeting that always makes Mark Jobe smile: “I really loved today’s Mass, Father Mark.”

Jobe is the senior pastor of New Life Community Church, which has 14 campuses across Chicago and its suburbs. He said he hears those words at least once a month, usually from newcomers - Hispanics raised in the Catholic faith who’ve started attending his non-denominational Christian church....

Hispanic Catholics tend to vote Democrat by a two-to-one margin while Evangelicals and Pentecostals are evenly split between the two parties.

Hispanic evangelicals and Pentecostals tend to be more politically active than Catholics, have higher rates of citizenship and exercise their right to vote.

It’s happening. However, remarks like post 8 seem to give the wrong impression that the GOP is not for Catholics — note, I said the wrong impression as these few shrill shills like in post 8 are not symbolic of the GOP, but they shout the loudest.

As a conservative, you know that you can’t blame Catholics being a Democrat voting block, on the GOP, the party that you embrace.

The Democrat party is the official party of anti-Christianity, the party that attracts the atheists, and the satanic, the purposefully anti-Christian book writers, comedians, commentators, legislators, yet Catholics support that party.

That overly dramatic claim about an individual’s anti-Catholic remark for why Catholics support the Democratic party platform, is yet another way to avoid confronting the Catholics being a Democratic voting block, problem.

Firstly - I didn't blame it on the party. I gave you a specific instance -- post 8. If you have shrill voices like that giving the wrong idea of the GOP, then what do you expect?

And secondly, it's not overly dramatic. Why do Jews mostly vote for the Dims? And even rich Asians or Palestinian Christians though their beliefs are conservative? Because of the power of perceptions

and if we allow the shrill posts like in 8 to give the wrong idea of the GOP, then we have ourselves to blame

Why do Jews mostly vote for the Dims?

Because they are liberal, and have always been, just like the majority of Catholics, post 8 did not make Catholics vote for Obama, they do it because they are Catholic.

Prominent Democrats the party of the KKK, write all the anti-Christian books, make the movies, run the anti-Christian news shows, TV shows, comedy acts, newspapers, magazines, etc, etc, and you think that the reason Catholics vote Democrat is because they saw post 8, or heard a rare anti-Catholic remark somewhere that didn't come from a liberal?

ansel: they do it because they are Catholic. -- I am Catholic and conservative. Are you saying that I should be voting Democratic according to you? Sheesh....

Good gosh, what kind of logic is that, would a conservative Jew saying that to you about the Jewish vote, make any sense, or be worth an adult even saying it?

Speaking the truth about idolatry is not hateful, and it follows Christ’s example. Was Christ hateful toward the Pharisees? The catholic ‘church’ is just exactly like the pharisees.

Worshiping Mary/Ishtar, Praying to idols (”icons” Statues), counting repetitive prayers on beads, making cross buns (Tammuz cakes).

Pretty much all the traditional ways.

The Ark of the Covenant was the outlet of the power of Y’HoVah.

It was constructed as directed by him.
