Well, you can burn her as a witch if you wish, but what she actually said was nothing of the kind. She was polite. That’s how kindly little old ladies talk.
In fact, I have to wonder at the motives of the person that misreprented themselves in a false e-mail and apparently thought they could trap some nun into saying something scandalous. What’s up with that? All because a nun didn’t respond to some previous message? Sorry... but there’s a nastiness about this. She was baiting the nun, and I think it’s pretty clear the nun didn’t bite.
The sad reality is that more than a few modernist nuns are supporters of abortion. Some even volunteer as “escorts” at abortion clinics and march in pro-choice rallies. Sister Keenan’s enthusiastic support of Obama and Obamacare speaks for itself.
Oh, Please. The e-mail thanked her for standing up for women’s rights to control their bodies. A “pro-choice” organization writing that is like a Nazi writing “Thank you for your support for a final solution to our Jewish situation.”
