Canon 915. Excommunication. BUT it has got to be public, proclaimed, and with the requirement that the individuals publicly renounce their heresy. Personally, I’d be in favor of having it reserved to Rome, since these are public figures and our equivalent of royalty.
It is hard for the Catholic Church to maintain their credibility on ethical issues when they allow those who so radically depart from the basic tenets of the church to remain as active members and congregants. May be time for the separation of sheep and goats.
