Tonya Parker says until same-sex licenses are legal in Texas, she will not sign the forms.
A Black, openly lesbian Texas judge is refusing to conduct straight-couple marriage ceremonies in her state until same-sex couples can wed.
The judge, Tonya Parker, recently explained her decision during a Stonewall Democrats of Dallas monthly meeting.
“I do not perform them because it is not an equal application of the law. Period,” she said, reports the NY Daily News.
Parker says she is using her decision as an opportunity to give a lesson about marriage equality in the state.
“So I usually will offer them something along the lines of, ‘I’m sorry. I don’t perform marriage ceremonies because we are in a state that does not have marriage equality, and until it does, I am not going to partially apply the law to one group of people that doesn’t apply to another group of people,'” she says.

I assume she took the lesbian oath of office when she was sworn in as a judge. Otherwise, she could be impeached.
Another blackrobe with a mental disturbance allowed to pass judgement over others. Her obsession with her perverted sexual ways will guide her every decision; make no mistake about it.

I think this falls under the rule that, liberals are allowed to say and do whatever the hell they want to push liberal causes.
So it’s okay for a liberal judge to say she won’t perform weddings until homosexual marriage is allowed. It was NOT okay for various people, such as town clerks in states allowing homosexual marriage, to not issue the licenses and deal with other legal matters related to homosexual marriage. Those people were compelled to follow the law, but that’s because they were not making a liberal political statement. Since this judge is making a liberal political statement, she will get away with this with no consequences.
And when did homosexual marriage become a “moral” issue? Have we changed the definition of the word “moral”? I’ve heard more than a few say that it’s immoral to not allow homosexual marriage. Yet virtually all religions consider homosexuality to be sinful. Have liberals hijacked the word and concept of morality to push yet another liberal cause?
I notice that Al Gore did that with global warming. He calls it a “moral issue”. I presume that the liberals expect all to shut down debate on an issue when they declare something to be a moral issue.
Excellent news. We can also expect her to dismiss any charges brought under the category of ‘hate crimes’.....can’t we?

What she is doing is called “Rules Departure”. This means she faces no sanction or punishment, unlike those involved in Civil Disobedience. - Feinberg 1979.
“To give a lesson” - ahhhhhh......there we have the Democrat mindset in all its glory. She’s smarter than everyone else, so it’s her job to teach everyone a lesson. Arrogant. Haughty. Foolish. Juvenile.
Why would a straight couple want to be married by this co called judge?
She needs off the bench immediately.. the law is obviously irrellevant to this “judge”.
What Straight couple would want to be married by a Dyke Judge anyway?
Find someone else to perform the ceremony.
Vioation of civil rights and she should be removed from office and charged.
Let’s see how Perry handles this.
