Last I checked it wasn't Christ in the flesh visiting the Corinthians, Bereans and Thessalonians. It was the men appointed by Christ who came in His Name to preach, teach and baptize. By your argument, you invalidate the commission of the Apostles... if Christ is with each of us always and as an ever-living prophet, then the Apostles are superfluous. Nice catch!
