Two copies of an English version of the Holy Bible were found in the building where Osama bin Laden spent his last days and was killed by U.S. forces, Pakistani officials revealed on Tuesday night.
The compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, where the al-Qaida leader was shot dead by U.S. Navy SEALs last May, is being demolished this week. A number of interesting discoveries have been made among the rubble, however.
Among them are cleverly hidden radios and two copies of the Bible, but different theories exist about why the extremist Islamic leader, who waged a holy war against the U.S., would have Bibles in his possession. Certain passages have apparently been highlighted in different colors, leading some Pakistani intelligence officials to believe that they might be coded messages referencing future terror attacks, The Times of India reported. Pakistan's ISI security service is conducting further investigations on the texts in question.
"We had already cleared the compound before demolition but found two copies of the Bible and two radio sets," an unidentified Pakistani commander shared with The Sun. "The Bibles were in English and we cannot be sure why they were there. These copies were found as we checked the rooms for the final time before demolishing the building.

Good thing they didn’t burn them and cause Christian rioting.

Media trying to make a story out of this??
When I saw the location of the compound from the air (all roads led to the compound), IMHO, everyone knew who was living there...
And let's guess that there are plenty of tunnels and THAT's the REAL reason it is being destroyed. Bet they concrete the site from end to end.
He highlighted John:3:16

I promise Osama is in tortured agony right now, knowing the Truth was within his reach, but was ignored.
The same reason I have 2 Qurans ?
Actually, nobody is in heaven or hell. All are “asleep” until the resurrection. Then after the second resurrection, the Judgment.
2 bathroom house? Or do you go camping a lot?
Were they Gideon Bibles? HmmmM!
I should have added that I have a couple of Book of Mormons from different eras, and of course many of the usual, religious books.
For a major world Islamic leader and religious hero (not exactly Mother Theresa is it?) to have bibles seems pretty normal.
:Actually, nobody is in heaven or hell. All are asleep until the resurrection. Then after the second resurrection, the Judgement.”
I agree nobody is in their final destination yet, but I believe they are “awake” to their predicament while awaiting the Judgement. Read Luke 16:19-31
19 “There was a rich man, who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day. 20 And at his gate lay a poor man named Laz’arus, full of sores, 21 who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man’s table; moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried; 23 and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes, and saw Abraham far off and Laz’arus in his bosom.
I would call that a parable. When Lazarus was raised from the dead, he made no references to what he had seen, nor who, among his relatives, he had contact with while dead.
“I would call that a parable.”
Yes, of course it is. Don’t confuse that Lazarus of the parable with the other Lazarus that Jesus raised from the dead.
I’m not. What I’m saying is that the people Jesus raised from the dead had no conscious thoughts while they were dead, therefore they were not in heaven and they were not being tormented in hell. They were “asleep” awaiting either the first or the second resurrection. Once we die, our next conscious thought will be rising in the air to meet Christ or meeting him at the White Throne Judgment.
“What Im saying is that the people Jesus raised from the dead had no conscious thoughts while they were dead”
The Bible does not record any comments made afterward by those that Jesus raised up, so how could you know that? I think that is speculation.
