I know it’s easy to lash out at people anonymously on line, which is going to explain my ill temper in replying to you.
My point was that you have to be a friggin idiot to think destroying the religious site would eliminate the muslim religion.
However, I tried to do it with humor. You then responded by calling me a liberal.
It’s a stupid idea which won’t work and which has absolutely no basis in reality. Thank you for assuring us all that it will work, that assurance is absolutely worthless.
Williams I do agree that it probably won’t entirely eliminate Islam, but what I do know, is that it will have a deep negative impact on its very foundation and strength. It’s because the ‘Qiblah’, or the direction in which all mosques everywhere are directed towards the Kaaba. i.e. everyone faces the Kaaba, no matter where they may pray. And you are correct ofcourse, Islam won’t be destroyed, because it’s an ideology. No philosophy is ever destroyed, but it can die. And even though you may think that Islam wouldn’t die, it is obvious, that the faith of the majority of Muslims will be massively shaken, if not crushed. No matter what you may say, its destruction will cause an unprecedented awakening, which may lead to the bloodiest war of all time, or in the most liberating realization, in the history of Muslims.
