Christ never became the Son of God- that is a heresy-

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory among us as of the only begotten of the Father, )full of grace and truth (Jn.1:14)

Christ was the Word in eternity, not the Son, that occured in time.
