Are you saying that the Archangel Gabriel spoke King James English to a 14 year old Hebrew girl in 1st century Nazareth or do you allow for some flexibility in the actual words used as recited in the Ave Maria (Hail Mary)?
I don't want to get into an argument over the Protestant Sola Scriptura approach to the Revealed Word or in any way compromise my Catholic belief in the Sacred Tradition from which the Scripture was produced. I simply want to accurately state Catholic teaching. Once we have agreement on what the Church teaches we can have a discussion over the relative merits of it, but Catholics cannot compelled to defend error.

I use various English translations, but if there is a serious disagreement, I go to the Hebrew and Greek Lexicons. For our purposes here it has not been necessary to post it’s contents. Yet.
