Isn't it our goal to defeat Obama, and to defeat Liberalism?

How are we going to defeat liberalism by voting in a man who would be the most liberal Republican nominee of all time? Romney is the modern-day version of Nelson Rockefeller. Fighting liberalism by replacing Obama with Romney is the same as fighting gang influence by leaving the Crips to join MS-13.

A Romney general election victory in 2012 would for all practical purposes destroy conservatism as a force in the Republican Party. For the next 4-5 Presidential election cycles, the GOP-E and their MSM allies will point to Romney's victory in 2012 as the blueprint for how Republicans get elected - avoiding conservative positions and ideas. Tea Party ideals will be pushed to the sidelines to be forever ignored.

For the record, again, I would much prefer Gingrich or Santorum.

However, Romney is FAR better than Obama, on many fronts.

I want a better nominee, but I will vote AGAINST Obama no matter what.
