Great way to shut people up. Do you believe in the Trinity? That will start them getting nervous. I love it. They will either have to deny that - which is a far bigger deal than they think - or they will eventually lose the argument.

Jimmy Carter is simply a man without the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.

Try searching for “Jimmy Carter” + “Bible” + “Pope John Paul II” - if you want to have your mind blown by Carter’s idiocy.

About 10 days ago Jimmy release a new book about the bible which was apparently some of his interpretations of the bible. At the time there was an article about some of his memoirs written when he was in the White House. He wrote about his meeting with Pope John Paul II and how he (Jimmy) was angry with Pope JPII because they had discussed the Marxist liberation politics of Central America, and also Carter told Pope JPII that the church should definitely ordain women priests. It happened the Pope John Paul II did not agree with Carter and he told him so. Carter said the “Pope John Paul II reminded him of the Ayatolla Khomeini!!! Yup, that’s the logic in Jimmy Carter.

What is truly amazing in this article is that Carter is so stupid that even today in hindsight, Carter still thinks he knew better than John Paul II about liberation theology and women priests. What a doofus.

Agreed. Homosexuality was so forbidden for Jewish society in that time that it would’ve been unimaginable that folks would ever advocate marriage being defined in a way that did not consist of a man and at least one woman. In fact by affirming marriage as one-man and one-woman(Matthew 19:4-6), Jesus greatly emancipated womankind by emphasizing how necessary they are to the human race. Advocating all-male or femaleless “marriage” would not have been liberating for females in that time period.

There have been many terms used to describe Jimmy Carter. I would use the term incompetently malicious. He has some elements of wanting to do good in him, but overall he is nowhere near Christian, nor a good man. He holds grudges.

Carter got my parents’ vote because of his veneer of social conservatism and purported Christianity. They never forgave themselves.

I was old enough to vote in the election for his second term, and DIDN’T vote for this evil man. I voted for Anderson in my rebellious, “liberal” years of young-skull-full-of-mush. But I’m glad Reagan won.

when carter was in cuba, I will never forget when carter said one thing in english and another thing in spanish but gave the impression both speeches were the same.

Agree w you on your assessment of Carter. He blew his entire presidency by allowing himself to be paralyzingly ineffective over the Iranian hostage crisis. When the hostages were released over the mere perception of what Reagan would do, Carter appears to have given himself over to hatred, envy and bitterness. He’s spent the interim trying to tear others down in part to retaliate against the hand ‘fate’ dealt him in the WH, and in part to try to make his term look better by making others look worse.

His inner viciousness and nastiness shows in his face. I.e.: he made a choice [as to how to spend his post-POTUS yrs], and it was a very vile one.

Online dictionaries are available for free. Nowhere will you find ‘disaster’ and ‘chaos’ listed as synonyms.
