Jimmy Carter – A Truly Evil Man
WND ^ | 4/3/2012 | Joseph Farah

Posted on 04/05/2012 2:03:16 PM PDT by GiovannaNicoletta

What happens when an evil man is interviewed by a know-nothing interviewer from a corrupt and decadent faux news agency?

----

Asked about homosexuality and the Bible, Carter had this to say: “Homosexuality was well-known in the ancient world, well before Christ was born, and Jesus never said a word about homosexuality. In all of his teachings about multiple things – he never said that gay people should be condemned. I personally think it is very fine for gay people to be married in civil ceremonies.”

Wait a minute! Isn’t Jesus God? And didn’t God inspire the Bible? Just because Jesus isn’t quoted in red letters in the Bible discussing homosexuality, does that mean He never addressed it? Doesn’t it suggest, on the contrary, that Jesus didn’t dispute the law of the Bible? In fact, wouldn’t His atoning sacrifice on the cross be rendered ineffective if He didn’t uphold the law in its entirety? Does Jimmy Carter believe there is disagreement within the Trinity on homosexuality?

Carter for years has played the game that every left wing agenda item is actually a tradional Religious/ American value.

Not to defend Mr. Peanut, or anything. But he is not evil.

Stupid, yes. And suffering from advanced stages of dementia. And he has always been offensive and - well just a dumb hick.

But evil?

Nahhhh. Save that term for LBJ and Obama. Now THEY are (were) evil.

Judaea wasn’t exactly a hotbed of sodomy in those days.

No, I think she had it right. Carter calls himself a Christian and deliberately misrepresents the word of God in the interest of political correctness. He is doing nothing less than calling God a liar.

He IS evil.

Doesn’t this argument mean ALL of the Old Testament laws must be followed by Christians?

No Bacon?

There are other New Testament writings that address homosexuality.

>>Not to defend Mr. Peanut, or anything. But he is not evil.<<

He was the first ex-POTUS to criticize the USA from beyond waters’ edge (and before he had dementia — at lest clinical dementia).

When carter stepped out of Habitat For Humanity and back into politics, he became evil. Very evil.

Pardon me for butting in your group, but isn’t the term “dogs” as in “Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men has encircled me, they have pierced my hands and my feet.” from Psalm 22, a reference to sodomites?

This is something I ran across years ago, and wonder if you or your group had ever seen the word interpreted as such.

If you believe that Carter is simply naive or suffering from dementia, you probably don't know enough about him. Check out “The Real Jimmy Carter: How Our Worst Ex-President Undermines American Foreign Policy, Coddles Dictators and Created the Party of Clinton and Kerry” written by Steven Hayward in 2004.

Is he more evil than Obama? I don't believe so. Obama gets the prize for that. But is Carter evil? Absolutely! His Sunday School veneer is simply veneer to mask what is inside.

Jesus spoke about fig trees shriveling up and giving no fruits and plenty of other coded parabollas because homosexuals were persecuting open speech, and because Jesus wanted to only talk to those willing to hear, so as to keep the like of guilt ridden fools like Carter away.

It’s how it rolls, too bad, so sad.

I had always thought “dogs” referred to Gentiles. (Mt. 15:26-27; 20:19; Acts 4:27). So the “Dogs” in Psalm 22 would be a reference to the Gentiles who compassed Christ to crucify Him. Romans.

You can’t see me, but I’m giving Carter the same hate stare Laura Bush did when the LameAss Commie attacked her husband at the funeral of MLK’s wife.

Oh, and they’re not “gay”. They are homosexuals, and less than 2% of the population.

“Doesn’t this argument mean ALL of the Old Testament laws must be followed by Christians?

Dietary laws were specifically changed in the New Testament. Peter is ordered three times to rise, kill and eat “unclean” animals. God tells him that He has made them clean.

Also temple worship was specifically changed, we worship differently now as we no longer have to sacrifice. Christ is our sacrifice. This is also specifically lined out.

The moral laws continue, again, they are repeated and referenced and upheld.

There really is no confusion if you just read it through. God is not the author of chaos; He makes His will clear enough.

In Israel, at the time Jesus walked, homosexuality was not a big issue, so it isn’t surprising that Jesus didn’t directly address it. Besides, it is covered elsewhere in the old and new testaments, and if someone gets their values from scripture and Christianity, rather than make them up as events and desires dictate, it is impossible to not conclude that homosexuality is a sin, as are most divorces and multiple marriages, adultery, and premarital fornicating. To those we can add lusting in our hearts, something Jimmy is familiar with, and being envious of our neighbors, something most liberals are guilty of. We all have something to overcome in our Christian walks, and no one is doing homosexuals a favor by pretending they are okay with God when they aren’t. If there is anything this world needs in mega doses right now, it is truth.
